Outside Sales Representative

Forterra is seeking a qualified Sales Representative for its Memphis and Northern Mississippi area.
Forterra is a leading manufacturer of pipe and products in the U.S. and Eastern Canada for a variety of water-related infrastructure applications, including water transmission, distribution and drainage. The company generated pro forma net sales of $1.5 billion in 2017. Based in Irving, Texas, Forterra employs more than 5,000 people and operates more than 88 facilities, with products available throughout the U.S. and Eastern Canada.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
Marketing and selling products within the area.
Targeting and acquiring new accounts by calling on various customers.
Building relationships with customers to create awareness of Forterra products.
Strengthening and growing existing customer relationships.
Representing Forterra at industry functions and trade shows.
Managing activities within assigned cost budgets.
Effectively execute administrative duties including but not limited to reports of call, weekly activities, business justifications, and monthly reports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Proven Sales results required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience required.
Minimum of two years of experience in a building products related sales position.
Intermediate skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
Outstanding relationship building skills.
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
Flexibility and willingness to travel

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
